Internship

In the spring semester of 2024, I had the opportunity to complete an internship in Córdoba, Argentina as part of my study abroad experience. I interned at a dispensario, a free universal healthcare clinic that serves the local community, and this experience deeply broadened my understanding of global health systems. I was able to witness the strengths and challenges of Argentina’s public healthcare firsthand and compare them to the U.S. system, sparking thoughtful reflection on access, equity, and patient care. This internship not only strengthened my interest in healthcare but also helped shape my perspective on what quality care looks like across different contexts.
